Athazagoraphobia Girl - No. 6 "Waking"

By: Kitsune

Grasping.
Clawing.
Inhaling.

Desperately...
The moonlit fantasies in my deepest mind
Are lovely dreams, impossible dreams
Delusions...

They do more harm when believed.
I have awakened,
but these dreams have remained
Until today.

You’ve taken away the ones I cherish
Without moving an inch.
A secret, you once said
Not to be spoken of to anyone
Until –

Unpredictable...
Waking up now, I scream
How?! How do you do this to me!
You uproot me.
And I go willingly;
a floating weed in the wind.
