Sweet Tears

By: rgriffin

Into the cave you yell not a soul hears

You just cannot out run the coming pain

Each day will pass in a bliss of sweet tears

It slivers as it sucks out all other life

There is a beast inside that can't be slain

Into the cave you yell not a soul hears

Air that escapes from parted lips with strife

The sea that crashes refuse to tame

Each day will pass in a bliss of sweet tears

Increasing as they all start to just die

Once full of life the young become quite lame

Into the cave you yell not a soul hears

Birds are grounded they cannot even fly

Once boastful the proud are engulfed in shame

Each day will pass in a bliss of sweet tears

Streaming down you face as you say goodbye

Once the road taken it won't be the same

Into the cave you yell not a soul hears

Each day will pass in a bliss of sweet tears
