Curiosity once poured out of that innocent mind
The warmth of the gentle breeze fixes all
The nooks and crannies filled with the lull of laughter
kisses accompanied every bump and fall
secrets behind doors that none shall find
Leaves change as time tics and tocks by
And one can't resist winters harsh call
The cold finds a way to pillage and slaughter
Faces and hearts become like porcelain dolls
The Flames so warm lick as they wait by the side
Ever so patiently It waits for the slide
Tumbling and rolling like a child's ball
With the slash of ink He had bought her
Once on top things seem so small
The escape refused there is no where to hide
The Twinkle still dangles just out of reach
In hopes that one day it shall be beseeched
