A Prayer

By: Psudo

My days are troubled
Nights spent awake
My dreams are crumbled
Hands always shake

This is not how man should live
I need more than I can give
As a beggar, I ask for aid
I cannot swear the debt repaid

Give me the mountain's calm
Take from me the tormenting storm
Quench in me the impulsive fire
Give me strength to act, not tire

I promise you thankful response
A loyalty no threat can shake
If with hope you will ensconce
Enough for one step to take

I am yours. Save me.
