The Emancipation Of The Emaciation Of My Soul

By: Raven

I run, my veins fire filled,

coursing with adrenaline,

my heart thrusting forth,

against my chest wall,

pounding to be free.

My muscles fatigue from flight,

over this concrete road,

burning with the acidic feeling,

of there corrosion.

Yet your strength is as,

infinite as my weakness.

I will run and not be weary,

I will walk and not stumble,

I will not travel the road,

to perdition because of you.
