Interrogation

By: Raven

Bound to a chair

ropes tightly wound

gagged, guilty as found

they will make you bleed

they will make you plead

You say it is simply breaking bones

that they are merely sticks and stones

that they can bleed you dry

and they will never know who you are

they will make you succumb

they will make you numb

I pound the two-way mirror

why can I only ever see you

maybe you’d tell if you saw my tears

maybe you’d break if you knew my fears

maybe this is why I am the one confessing
