Fear It

By: Fox

An emerald jewel pierces the night,

Its gaze transfixed, a dire illumination,

The moon and her countesses dare it to take flight,

It still sits with infatuation.

Luminescence steals in as gold,

Concealing the shadow,

It’s ebon wings unfold,

The darkness shall hide the glow.

This demoniac creature,

And his heart-wrenching stare,

Will do anything, anything to ensure,

Don’t look into its eyes, they cause despair.

You were curious, now caught in his eyes,

It’s too late, you are locked within,

You’re trapped, captured in your own demise,

Fear it, the raven.
