falling down (dilapidated)

By: jade

we are but two weary travelers

old before our time

tentatively we stumble through the stones

watching water become wine

while in the shadows we stitch our bloody ulcers

dull needles pulling course thread through portals in time

with trembling hands we clutch and grab

the loose stones make for a difficult climb
