Georgia and Bute

By: jade

blue suit walks alone

followed by red cap

plaid flanel lurks

while the bandana's shoot some hoops

shirts or skins?

does it matter?

bleached blond spikes

are chatting up the skirts

sweater vests and muscles flexed

the lattes and cappuccinos race by

talking, but who's listening?

does it matter?

the sharks are circling

there's green blood in the water

fins erect with the scent

patent leather portfolios

gold or silver hardware?

does it matter?

goosebumps hold their breath on my skin

as the shivers dance along my spine

I stand naked

is this all there is?

do I matter?
