Lips

By: Renee

Lips open,

lies told,

eyes shift,

no longer bold.

Now they think,

they know your past,

accusations fly,

all too fast.

They know of you,

and what you did,

the pain you held,

and how you hid.

Or so they think,

so they presume,

you must be bad,

to meet that doom.

'Cause lips open,

lies told,

eyes shift,

all too bold.
