I can see your face in the picture

I can see your soul in your words

I can feel you drifting closer

I need you so strongly it burns

I was supposed to come by tonight

We'd find a nice resturant and eat

Talk and laugh with all our might

And, in the moonlight, walk the street

Instead I'm alone in the moonlight

I don't have the stomach to eat

I cry and I pray with all my might

Tonight we were supposed to meet

Shattered blood red on the sidewalk

Glassious shards of my heart

We've been cut apart from each other

On my soul, the blade's made it's mark

For tonight, music has lost it's meaning

For tonight, I hate the moon

For tonight, just footsteps taking

Please take tonight away from me soon
