Not Poetry ?

Can a poem not be poetry?

To have a cute premise

to rhyme, beat in time.

Enjoyment of many

too simple to other poets.

May not bring the imaginary

Nor to bring the imagery.

Many enjoy the simpleness

without knowing it lacks.

May not fill our senses

Deep in mind’s recesses.

A poem it may be,

Yet still not quite poetry.
