The Town

By: Marble

Look at the voilets in the freshly painted window box,

a vivid shade of purple that draws

the golden butterflies that shine a dazzling blue

in the bright sunlight, that illuminates

the chocolate brown hair on the

festively colored dancers who are

spinning, whirling, weaving, leaping,

all over the lush summer green grass

that is rippling in the breeze,

which is laden with folk music and conversation.

All of this I want to show you,

but you keep walking past.
