Doll Of Blood

By: Fox

Out of the mists, lost in the breath of the gods, suffocating in the darkness. Surrounded by thousands of spirits, all trapped in the barrier. Music flows through my veins, the pulse of my heart, the gale in my ears. Hearing each drop of rain as it clings to flowers, hitting the ground, giving the earth life.

Running through the bramble, tearing my bare skin, letting the blood flow peacefully down my body onto the soil. Slowly it descends down my covering. It follows my curves. Down my neck, quickly falling to my chest. The scarlet river meets another, growing stronger. My breath quickens as another gash slices my flesh, my heart beats faster.

As smooth as silk it proceeds, silently. Like the still death of the midnight. I sit alone in the grass, on the earth. The glorious earth, that in which gave me life. It bleeds the rivers as I, my blood Its air as the wind refreshes my mind, blasting my untamed hair among the leaves.

It gives light. Illumination of the sun when the clouds part and let it bring forth tranquillity. Brilliance of fire, blazing fire I yearn to touch, but dare not to. Dancing in my eyes, becoming my soul, the incandescence breathes.

When the sun is away, the clouds show us infinity, that is the dark. The perpetual horizons of stars. Gazing to them my mind is free. Unrestrained to journey wherever it pleases. To the celestial bodies, to far away sectors, to the end of eternity, to my own cradle of humanity. The world where it is accepted to sit in the dark and have no apprehensions. Where gales and cloudbursts are always there when you want them. Where you can see the stars and drift into far away world with your liking. Where you bleed, but do not die.

Rose petals harbor me now, the ground is tinted red. I remain forlorn in the void. All alone, the gods conceal the diamonds in the heavens. Why? Why do you hide them from me? Here I lay on your ground, my life on this sweet land, you have decided to spill. Why take this red wine you have made, when the earth gives its blood?

Empty is my heart, broken by you. No life to pulse through it, dare you take the earth's blood? The air is serene, the rain is at a desist, the grass is soiled by me. I grow cold, my lips are cerulean and my body crimson. A fracture in the obscurity shows a necklace of jewels. For me? Or am I in my own world now? Please, take away the remains, leave no more to rot in this humble abode. Seize my essence and consent to me

to my own precious world. Take me to the stars, leave only a doll of blood.
